How Long Does It Take Louis Vuitton to Oxidize?

I just got a new Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 and was wondering what the normal length of time is for the leather to start oxidizing (turn caramel color). Also does the color come out evenly along the handles? Or will it only show on where I handle the bag?|||They lose the nearly white color within a few months, but then they very gradually go from light golden/honey to dark. I have bags that are about 3 years old that are still just a light/medium honey color. They are definitely not dark. With a hand carried bag like the Speedy, it will darken faster on the handle due to natural hand oils. The handle will not be completely even. It is usually a little darker right in the center where your hand carries it. The handles on my speedy are pretty even though.|||my mom's purse took about 2 months to get a light honey color. the handles will be uneven if you use lotion alot. to have even color, make sure your hands are not dirty or oily. also don't take it out in the rain cuz it leaves water spots on leather
