I want to buy a Louis Vuitton eben cigarette case and I need help figuring out if the item is authentic or not?

There's an ad on Craigslist and it says the case is authentic. I don't know a whole lot but I know authentic Louis Vuitton stuff have date codes inside them. Inside the case it has the date code 3RN63024. The case said it's also made in France. Is the case authentic or not?
